These trekkers and adrenaline junkies are attracted to them for their breathtaking beauty and long and short hikes. Snow treks in India include trekking through ancient forests, crossing frozen streams, as well as taking in breathtaking views of the snow heaven.

1. Trek to Kedarkantha
The Kedarkantha Trek is a popular choice for beginners. It becomes magical in winter when the snowfall is so intense that you can only see the snow-covered peaks. This is a wonderful place for both beginners and experienced snow walkers to learn how to trek. It is approximately 20 km long and starts at 12,500 feet. The views are stunning of snow falling over pine trees. The climb is easy, but participants need to be fit enough to carry their backpacks up the mountain.
2. Nag Tibba Trek
Nag Tibba is located in Uttarakhand’s Garhwal, near Mussoorie at an elevation of 9915 feet. Because it is in the lower Himalayas, trekkers don’t have to worry about altitude sickness. It is also very accessible for both beginners and young people. The trek is easy enough to do in two days, which makes it ideal for weekend trips and attracts adventurers from all over the country and the world.
This walk takes you through a challenging start and then takes you to a grove full of Oak and Rhododendron trees. Winter snow covers hikes to Nag Tibba. You will reach the Nag Tibba temple after you have completed it.
3. Kangri Stok Trek
Stok Kangri’s beautiful meadows and rich vegetation are not its best assets. As the name suggests, the journey is about the harshness and severity that the Himalayan Stok Ranges can impose on you. As you approach the summit, the Karakoram Ranges can be seen to the north and Zanskar Ranges south.
Stok Kangri does not have a monsoon. It is therefore a great place to trek during monsoons in India, especially during July and August, as there are no landslides or constant downpours. You may experience severe snowfall as you climb higher.
Stok Kangri’s summit is 6152m above sea level (the highest point in the Himalayan Stok range).
4. Dayara Bugyal Trek
The Dayara Bugyal trek will reward you with stunning Himalayan views. Dayara Bugyal hiking trips are a great way to have an unforgettable experience. All surfaces are covered in white snow, from walkways to peaks and down to the ground. Dayara Bugyal is often associated with Bandarpoonch. This is just one of many large mountains that you will encounter during this walk.
You will see John Lee and Draupadi Ka Danda as you approach Raithal, your base camp. They are adorned in the orange hues that the setting sun gives off. In the distance, you can also see Shrikhand Mahadev’s Gangotri peaks. You can also see mountains from the other side of Gui as soon as you pass Gui. You can see the entire 180-degree view from Dayara Bugyal. It starts on the left with Kalanag, Bandarpoonch, and Draupadi ka Danda to the right. It is located at 12,303 feet elevation and is one of India’s most beautiful Alpine meadows.
5. Kuari Pass Trek
Kuari Pass is an excellent opportunity for tourists to experience the majestic Himalayas up close. Kauri Top is located at 13,990 feet. You will find trails that run through old oak and Rhododendron forests, which become denser as you go. This creates a variety of scenery and provides an unforgettable experience. Winter brings an extra layer of mystery. You can still enjoy the breathtaking views from the summit, even though you don’t cross it traditionally.
